Save Money Shopping Online At New York & Company Using The Free Blastoff Mall

by admin on October 28, 2009

If you want to be saving money then you are potentially familiar with the majority of the usual solutions: finding coupons, comparison shopping, buying in bulk, etc. Those methods are fantabulous but they are only sometimes the most practical or even the best way to save shekels. Any adept shopper knows that for ultimate results you must use EVERY tool available to you. That is why I would like to introduce you to a new technique most of you have potentially never heard of.

In the recent years the growth of the internet has really impacted the marketing world. One great difference has been the popularity and availability of “affiliate programs” which for those who are unaware is basically a commission given to the promoter when he/she is directly responsible for a sale. These programs are everywhere today, possibly the most well known is the Amazon Affiliate Program but even modest e-commerce stores have these setup now.

Now some of you are already connecting the dots and might be curious what will happen if you joined as an affiliate and ordered something from yourself… As you might guess the reward in this case is a discount on the item. But, the problem is that in most cases this would not be practical because the amount of work that goes into joining one of these programs will generally not be worthwhile if you just plan on buying ONE thing. In addition, some affiliate programs support buying from yourself while others frown on it… and may even ban you from their program.

I wouldn’t suggest going around and signing up for each individual affiliate program for every merchant that you usually shop at. However, I would not be saying this if I did not have something truly cool to share with you all.

This is where the Blastoff Mall comes in. Blastoff Network is a new site that launched in October that is perfect for saving money shopping online. You join for FREE and then can browse through the Blastoff network mall which contains links to over 300 different online stores (at the time of writing, there are probably even more now) including New York & Company , iTunes, Target, Starbucks, and Barnes & Nobles. Each of them labeled with a certain payoff % which you are entitled to.

I have not looked at each individual merchant but I have checked lots of of them and can say that in a nutshell what Blastoff Communications has succeeded in doing is create a “meta-affiliate” program where they signup to plenty of unique affiliate programs–then you can shop through any of their “partners” and get a chunk of the payoff. When you buy an item you chances are get about 30% of the reward paid to Blastoff for your purchase. You don’t have to sign up for the program first which can often take days or more and approval is never guaranteed. They make it so simple and easy–they definitely deserve the 30 percent or so of the payoff that they actually keep.

It is a free, easy, accessible way to save money doing the shopping you would potentially do anyways. Furthermore if you use the hyperlink in the Blastoff Mall it takes you straight to the shop’s actual website where you can use any savings coupons you have to save even more.

But hold on? that’s just 60 percent of the payoff, what about the rest?! I’m getting to that. In a splendid marketing move Blastoff has chosen to create an affiliate program of their own. By inviting people to Blastoff you are entitled to a small portion of the incentives earned when they purchase something up to ten levels deep. This is taken from that remaining percentage of incentive and is divided evenly among the ten people in that person’s invite history. Which works out to be 1/10 of the 30-40percent of incentive that is not given to the original buyer and Blastoff Network.

These “mini-incentive” individually don’t seem like much and for some purchases will be less than 1.00, but that’s dough you would not have had before and even if you only invite a handful of people if they each invite a couple people, the amount of people in your network that you are eligible to receive incentives from expands fairly quick. For example if you invite three people and they each invite three people by the time you get down to level 10 you have 3^10 people which is 59,049 people who may purchase something and you would get a payment, pretty fantabulous huh?

I could see this really taking off and people who get in early will obviously have the most effective change because if your friend does it before you then you wont receive any of the payoff when they buy something.

The thing is that I would recommend this to people even if there were no rewards paid unless you personally purchased something yourself because when it comes down to it is discount, just like using a coupon or buying something on sale. The only difference is that you can do it in addition to both of those solutions. What it really comes down to is this: it is free it can save you money… why not do it?

That being said, they do payout commissions based on what people who you introduce buy… So, rather than go to the main sign up page and let that extra dinero to Blastoff Network, sign up using my profile page so I get the credit. I really would appreciate it!! :)
